Hi this is a message from Chris Cady for everyone who is coming to my show here in Tahoe at the Horizon Hotel Casino Resort and you have any sort of disability... you are using a wheel chair, scooter, cane, crutches, walker, baby stroller or you have a challenge such as bad knees, arthritis, bad hips, bad back or a super sized body that makes it tough for you to get in and out of places and up and down stairs. (You get the point)
I'm going to make it very easy for you to come here and enjoy yourself with your family:
Here is why: For 5 years I had the pleasure of taking care of a disabled, wheelchair bound family member. During this time I learned that going anywhere is a challenge for the disabled person and their family. This is why if you are reading this, you probably don't get out much and you really need to come to my show and laugh your hiney off.
From my own experience most clubs, theaters and basically everywhere, handicapped seating is not very good and most venues are not well suited for disabled people and their families. Because of this, I wanted to do something different in my theater.
That's why before my very first hypnosis show in our new location in the Horizon Hotels Golden Cabaret I made sure that we would do our very best to create a very easy experience for our disabled guests and their family members or care givers. What I did was before we opened, I sat in a wheel chair and rolled in and out of our theater and figured everything out that would make an experience here EASY for you and your family.
That's why I designed a very simple system to make it very easy for you to come here and enjoy yourselves.

Reservations And Seating
When you know the date of the show that you will attend please call our box office and let us know your needs and how many people are in your party. We will assign you and your party members very specific VIP seats This seating is set up so that a wheel chair, or scooter can roll right up to your table
you can remain in your wheelchair. THERE ARE NO STAIRS ANYWHERE between the parking lot and the theater or the restrooms.
The rest rooms are about 50 yards away in the hotel lobby. Unlike many venues who have lousy wheelchair seats. These are great seats because I personally selected the seats that I would want my family to have.
THIS THEATER IS 100% SMOKE FREE
PARKING AND GETTING INSIDE
FREE Valet parking is available at this hotel and the valet area is within 50 feet of the door to our show. just park in valet and come right on in. Everything is on level ground.
REGARDING VOLUNTEERING IN THIS SHOW
If you have any sort of an injury, handicap, disability, are pregnant or you are under the care of a doctor or therapist, or if you take mind altering medications, etc please do not volunteer to be one of the people who gets hypnotized and gets up on stage. When you see the show you will understand why. However it is perfectly ok to watch the show and laugh yourself silly.

If the theater staff of any place that I perform gives you crappy seats instead of good ones "just because of your handicap" please let management know and I will "rearrange their values" and do my best to get you a good seat. However here is the good news. Currently Im performing in the Horizon Casino Resort in South Lake Tahoe. The room is very easy for anyone with a scooter, wheel chair, crutches etc to get into. With exception of the booths, the seats are cabaret style and every table can seat you comfortably.
Also if you are a "plus sized person" our seats are cabaret seats with cabaret tables and not theater seats so you don't have to worry about squeezing into a booth if this is a problem for you.
